About Me

I’ve been playing guitar for 17 years, which has given me an innate love for all things musical. Using knowledge gained from my music production and sound engineering degree, along with almost a decade of experience creating and mixing music, I now produce tracks for various bands, aiming to bring a unique but highly adaptable approach to production that will highlight the talent of each artist in the best way possible. I also perform across the UK in several bands on both guitar and bass, and work as a live sound engineer and guitar/bass teacher.

Guitar and Bass Lessons

I aim to provide engaging lessons that help you learn exactly what you want to learn. I prioritise great playing technique to develop good habits that avoid injury later on, and sprinkle in important bits of interesting music theory that help you understand what you are playing, so that you can easily play and communicate with others in a band or jam situation. Being in several bands myself, I also can teach you about how to get into the local music scene, how to write songs, and how to find and work with other musicians. The first lesson is always free, after which I charge £35 an hour. Please get in touch using the contact information at the bottom of the page if you are interested.

Mixing

I am interested in almost all genres of music, from psychedelic rock to jazz. I love working directly with an artist to bring their track as close as possible to what they’re hearing in their head, using mostly high quality emulations of vintage gear. Whether it’s a bedroom recording, a studio session, a single track, or a full album, I treat every project with the same amount of care and precision. Pricing is dependent on the type of track and the number of stems. Please get in touch using the contact information at the bottom of the page if you are interested.

Mastering

Through the mastering process, I try to create some vintage warmth and character by using a reel-to-reel tape machine and emulations of Abbey Road consoles, while still delivering the loudness required of modern music, so that the track feels at home on any streaming platform. I charge £30 per track. Please get in touch using the contact information at the bottom of the page if you are interested.

Live Sound

I currently work as a sound engineer at The Moon, Cardiff, and I am looking to branch out to other venues. Please get in touch using the contact information at the bottom of the page if you are interested.
